Youth in Philanthropy introduces motivated young people to philanthropy and local community development. YiP committees at schools/organizations decide on their areas of focus, goals and criteria, research and visit charitable organizations to determine their grant recommendations.
The Youth in Philanthropy Fund provides grants to organizations in our community based on the recommendations of youth participating in The Winnipeg Foundation's Youth in Philanthropy program.
All gifts to this fund will be pooled and invested with the generated income distributed as grants to local registered charities. As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit our community in perpetuity.
