This award is named in honour of long time East Kildonan resident, Glenn McWhinney. Glenn, an all around athlete and community supporter, lived in East Kildonan for close to sixty years. He was immensely proud of his family and friends who contributed to and enhanced the East Kildonan area during his lifetime. Gifts to this fund are pooled and invested, and the income generated for grantmaking will provide an annual scholarship to a Miles Macdonnell student who embodies the attributes demonstrated by Glenn during his lifetime.
