Joan Ewasko will lovingly be remembered for her kind, loving and gentle personality and her unwavering love for her family. She will also be remembered for her warm smile and beautiful blue eyes.
A lifelong Transconian, Joan took great pride in being part of the small community. She worked at her dad's grocery store, BACM and after being a stay-at-home mom worked as a lunch supervisor/co-ordinator in the River East Transcona School Division for many years.
She had a deep love for horses, dogs, children, classic cars and the colour blue. Joan also found great peace and enjoyment tending to her plants and flowers inside and outside of the home.
The Joan Ewasko Memorial Fund has been established to continue Joan's legacy of support for the young adults in the community she loved.
