In the early days of Peter’s youth, the seeds of his Catholic faith, Ukrainian language, culture, and dance were sown and took root. Dance was his passion and eventually it became his chosen and beloved career for over 40 years.
With much love and affection, Peter’s family has established the Peter Pawlyshyn Memorial Fund, which will honour his passion and be one of many ways his memory and legacy will live on.
Ecclesiastes 3:1-4 "There is an appointed time for everything, and a time for everything under the heavens. A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to uproot the plant. A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to tear down, and a time to build. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance."
Gifts to the fund will be held until Peter’s family determines whether the fund will be endowed at The Winnipeg Foundation to offer permanent community support or flow directly to organizations in our community.
