Kelli Nicole MacKay Memorial Fund

Kelli was a deeply caring and gentle person, beautiful inside and out, whose smile lit up a room. Kelli loved animals and had a deep sense of compassion. She was very interested in social justice and wanted to change the world for the better. As a humble soul who wanted the best for everyone, Kelli will be remembered and defined by her positive impact on many people.
Kelli struggled with various physical and mental health issues over her life but would have wanted to be remembered as the kind and caring person that she was. Her challenges with mental health issues did impact her ability to contribute to society in the manner that she wanted but they did not define her. She was a loyal friend and supporter to others experiencing challenges in their lives.
With this in mind, Kelli would have wanted to continue to support individuals dealing with mental health and addictions. And she still will! Access to professional assistance is fundamentally important. Gifts to the Kelli Nicole MacKay Memorial Fund will provide meaningful, significant support to organizations offering front-line service to this vulnerable community.
Although Kelli was a humble person and never sought attention, her family strongly believes that she would approve of this initiative and be happy that others will be helped as part of her legacy.
Gifts to the fund will support local charities that provide vital mental health and wellness care. The MacKay family will work with The Foundation to determine how to best remember Kelli with the gifts received.
