Plum Coulee Prairie View Elevator Museum has partnered with Plum Coulee Community Foundation to established this permanently endowed Manitoba Heritage Trust Fund to support their work.
The Manitoba government established the Manitoba Heritage Trust Endowment (MHTE) Fund to stretch gifts to Heritage Trust Funds. Each gift has the potential to be stretched by up to 50 per cent.
The Plum Coulee Prairie View Elevator Museum is a unique museum housed in one of the last wooden elevators that Pool built in Manitoba. It features a variety of artifacts displayed in opened grain bins, an observation bin and an interpretive centre.
The Winnipeg Foundation will generate the tax receipts for all gift directed to this fund under the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program. Gifts to this fund are invested in perpetuity and the annual income generated for grantmaking is distributed to Plum Coulee Prairie View Elevator Museum to be used at their discretion.
