The Sam Waller Museum has partnered with the Community Foundation of Swan Valley to established this permanently endowed Manitoba Heritage Trust Fund to support their work.
The Manitoba government established the Manitoba Heritage Trust Endowment (MHTE) Fund to stretch gifts to Heritage Trust Funds. Each gift has the potential to be stretched by up to 50 per cent.
The Sam Waller Museum serves to collect, preserve and interpret our community’s heritage for visitors to explore and appreciate. Our Museum is a portal to the past. Experience the rich and diverse history of The Pas and area and marvel at the strange and eclectic curiosities collected by our founder, Mr. Sam Waller.
The Winnipeg Foundation will generate the tax receipts for all gift directed to this fund under the Manitoba Heritage Trust Program. Gifts to this fund are invested in perpetuity and the annual income generated for grantmaking is distributed to Sam Waller Museum to be used at their discretion.
