A bright light and beautiful spirit, the world seems so much darker now that Ben is no longer here. Such a beautiful boy was lost suddenly at home in his 16th year.
Ben loved music, playing video games and basketball, and hanging out with his wonderful friends. His happiest times were when he was with his cats, Jonesy and Mel, and his brother, Charlie, who made him laugh every day. His family and friends will hold him in their hearts forever, especially treasuring memories made at the cottage and around campfires.
The Benjamin Timmons Walker Fund supports the Kids Help Phone, making sure young people have 24/7 access to free and confidential mental health services. Gifts to the fund will be permanently endowed at The Winnipeg Foundation and the income earned from this endowment will be distributed annually to Kids Help Phone.
