The Stople Hope Fund - In memory of Gerald Stople

The Stople Hope Fund was established to provide opportunities for persons living with Schizophrenia or Schizoaffective Disorder to realize their potential and more fully participate in community life. It is believed that providing modest assistance to individuals can increase self-esteem, help overcome barriers, lessen stress and be empowering, without compromising their current income. Examples include providing such basic living needs as food, clothing, and shelter or opportunities to participate in educational, self-help, recreational, social and cultural programs. The goal is for those in the mental health field to help improve their clients' capacity to realize their potential.

Your gift will be pooled and invested with the generated income distributed as grants to local registered charities as donor advised grants.  As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit the people of Winnipeg in perpetuity.

* I would like my gift to be anonymous. Do not include my name on gift listings or in Winnipeg Foundation publications. (For further information please see our Privacy Policy.)
