The Barbados Association of Winnipeg’s (BAW) Scholarship Awards Program was established June 8, 2017, to celebrate the 40th anniversary of BAW and the 150th birthday of Canada. The Program will support and reward achievements of the community's youth, not only academically but also in recognition of their contributions to a caring, compassionate and united community. Gifts will be applied directly to support the annual award as determined by the Barbados Association of Winnipeg, with excess gifts going into the endowed scholarship fund. All endowed gifts to this fund will be pooled and invested with the generated income distributed as scholarships. Your contribution will continue to benefit scholarship recipients in perpetuity.
