To our dear family and friends,
We want to thank all of you for the support and love you have shown us during this unimaginable and life shattering experience. We are forever changed. Your kind words, generosity, and presence – from near and far – have meant the world to us.
Lauren (Lor) was a connector who brought people together, making those around her feel at ease. People gravitated towards her honesty, openness, and humour. Lor connected with many on a deeper level, empathizing with their troubles and sharing her own vulnerabilities. Her warmth and laughter (or cackle) will not be forgotten.
Lauren was often hurt by the lack of justice she saw in the world, both locally and globally. She used her business to help fundraise for charitable causes and she was frequently donating money or items to places like Main Street Project, the North End Women’s Centre, the Cerebral Palsy Association, and the Children’s Rehabilitation Foundation (she previously worked at the Rehabilitation Centre for Children). It is our hope and desire that the "Lauren (Lor, Lo) Anderson Memorial Fund" will allow us to continue to support the causes and projects that were important to her.
With love, gratitude, and appreciation from Lauren’s loving family,
Colleen & Randy (Ricco), Brett (Atlas and Bowser), Cailin and Dane (Leon), Ardyn and Joe
