For over 40 years, FGWRC has provided programming guided by our vision of creating a world where the community we serve is safe, healthy, valued, and empowered.
Individuals who come to our Centre may be struggling with gender-based violence, mental health, coping, trauma, parenting, separation & divorce, grief, stress, or self-worth. While the circumstances vary, the underlying message they bring to FGWRC is the same – I need help.
Because of donors like you, all our services remain free of charge, ensuring help is accessible to those in need.
Your generosity creates a legacy of care and empowerment, supporting free counselling, workshops, legal clinics, access to food kits and hygiene items, and drop-in programs that help participants to connect, rebuild their lives, and thrive.
This is a permanent endowment fund established by Fort Garry Women's Centre. Gifts to this fund are pooled and invested to benefit them in perpetuity. The income generated by this fund is distributed to Fort Garry Women's Centre to be used at its discretion.
