The Horace Patterson Foundation was established to continue the legacy of Horace Patterson (1940-1982), a community activist, passionate about education. The mission of the fund is to increase access to post-secondary education for African-Caribbean youth. Since 1992, almost 200 scholarships have been awarded to deserving youth in our community. A scholarship is awarded annually to a student attending post-secondary in Manitoba.
All gifts to this fund will be pooled and invested with a portion of the generated income distributed as scholarships. As the original gift remains invested, your contribution will continue to benefit scholarship recipients in perpetuity.
