For generations, hundreds of thousands of Canadian youth have benefited from Scouting's programs. They have sought the fun, friendship and adventure of the Movement and discovered its values, educational methods and youth leadership opportunities. In this current climate of globalization and societal change, more than ever before Canadian youth need the "fun with a purpose" that Scouting provides.
Scouts Canada, the country's leading youth organization, offers seven challenging programs for boys, girls and youth age 5-26 in nearly 3,600 individual groups in most cities and towns across Canada.
In Manitoba, there are about 45 Groups, with just under 1200 members.
